BAKULI – Two people were knocked dead by a speeding taxi registration number UAL 351N when its driver lost control at Kakuli, a Kampala suburb. According to Patrick Onyango Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson, the unidentified driver failed to break causing the accident at 8: 00 am at Bakuli traffic lights.

“The driver is on the run and we are looking for him. The bodies are at city mortuary are not yet to be identified. Two other taxis UBA 240C and UAT 383F as well as a motor cycle UED 284E were involved in accident,” he told Uganda Vanguard Wednesday September 4th, 2019.

Onyango further explained, “We caution motorists to always check the mechanical condition of their vehicle before embarking on any journey.”
