CLOCK TOWER – Effective September 1st, 2019, MultiChoice Uganda has slashed prices for its customers hooked on DStv and GOtv Plus but still offering quality entertainment content, and the new football season for less. Acording to Joan Semanda Kizza, the Public Relation and Communications Manager of MultiChoice Uganda, the move was after a consideration for economic relief to the firm’ valued customers.
“These are tough economic times and as a company, we’re constantly looking at various ways our to thank customers for their ongoing support and loyalty whilst delivering a world-class entertainment service at a price they can afford,” said Semanda. “These significant price drop the various DStv bouquets and GOtv Plus. This is our way to demonstrate our commitment to ensuring our customers receive the best possible access to great entertainment at outstanding value., we have reduced our prices for our DStv Premium, Compact+, Compact and Family as well as the GOtv Plus package!”

In August, we we delivered the exciting FA Cup’s Community Shield match between Liverpool and Manchester City on 4 August to all our DStv customers as well as GOtv Max and Plus along with An a three-week long open view access to the new WWE SuperSlam pop-up channel than launched on 1 August and will run until 31 December. In the latest giant leap in providing customer value, MultiChoice will make great entertainment even more accessible to more consumers in Uganda and we believe this move will grant more of our customers access to the complete world of exciting entertainment channels at a lower price.
“Leading up to this day, we have done a teaser campaign that you have probably been seeing titled, “Where is Everybody” with the date 3.9.19. This was a pre-empt to today, where we have all the media present with us here at Clock Tower. With this campaign, we have highlighted empty streets, with the implication that Everybody has been missing because they have been watching TV. After today, we will launch at Kazi Mingi in Jinja tomorrow (4th September), The Bus Park in Gulu on 6th September and Kizungu in Mbarara on the 8th of September.
