KAMPALA, Uganda, Premier Recruitment Ltd, a new subsidiary firm of Ruparelia Group of Companies is offering ladies hired as housemaids free Uganda passport to travel to the Middle East for employment. Government charges Shs150,000 for a passport that takes a couple of weeks. There is also provision for one to pay Shs300,000 and get it process in a day provided all the required documents are in place.
According to Mr Rajiv Ruperelia, the managing director, Premier Recruitment Ltd (PRL), the firm is in touch with Uganda Embassy to screen the foreign recruitment companies in the Middle East.
“We want to make sure we vet and screen all companies we work with abroad who will employ our Ugandans. As a special offer we are we are recruiting house maids aged 21 to 38 years who will be given a free passport and air ticket,” he said.
The females must be of good attitude, hardworking and will be paid salary US$240 per month (Shs900,000) on a two years contract, Mr Rajiv told Uganda Vanguard Sunday November 4, 2018.
He further explained, “Our company mission is to unite talent with opportunity. We are currently in Saudi Arabia where I recently visited with my general manager, Ms Kanak Shah. We met Mr. Emmanuel Olobo, the head of administrative, consular and labour affairs, Uganda Embassy, Riyadh who assured safety of our ladies.”
Ms Kanak said the firm located on 1st floor, Crane Chambers, plot n 3umber 8 Kampala Road is registered with Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development.
